Investors are unlikely to be surprised that the technology sector has produced all of the best-performing exchange-traded funds in the last ten years, with Amundi MSCI world info tech topping the returns table in 2023, as the decade-long tech sector dominance is based on exuberance over artificial intelligence.

For this exercise, I filtered ETFs available for sale in Europe with over $100 million in AUM and more than ten years of track record of performance.  I have also excluded any leveraged product.

Bottom Line on Best ETFs of the Past Decade

To summarise the best-performing ETFs over the last decade have all been in the technology sector, various ETF on the list provide a broader perspective on various tech fields, such as computer software, hardware, and information technology.
